This page is maintained by EC Rental Property Management, LLC ("Fixly", "we", "us") to explain what data we collect when you use Fixly, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
- Account info — name, email, phone, and (for pros) service area, skills, and tax/payout details.
- Booking info — property address, access notes, requested service and time window, and communications about the job.
- Payment info — processed by our payment provider. Fixly does not store full card numbers.
- Job artifacts — inspection photos, notes, and any AI-generated reports produced from them.
- Device & usage — IP address, device type, and how you interact with the Service, used for security and product improvement.
2. How we use information
- To dispatch, deliver, and support the services you book.
- To match customers with available pros via SMS and in-app offers.
- To process payments, payouts, taxes, and required tax reporting.
- To generate AI-assisted inspection reports from photos and notes.
- To send transactional email and SMS related to your booking.
- To detect fraud, enforce our Terms, and comply with law.
2a. SMS communications
When you provide your mobile number on Fixly, you consent to receive transactional text messages related to your account, bookings, and job dispatch. We do not share your mobile number with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Message frequency varies based on your activity (for example, booking confirmations, pro arrival updates, and job-offer alerts). Message and data rates may apply.
You can opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by contacting Support. For help, reply HELP or visit the Support page.
3. Sharing
We share information with the pro or customer counterparty to a booking (name, address, phone, and job details), with our processors (payments, SMS, email, hosting, AI report generation), and when required by law. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Subprocessors
Fixly uses reputable providers for hosting, database, payments, SMS, email delivery, and AI processing. Each is bound to their own privacy and security commitments and only receives the data necessary to perform the requested service.
5. Retention
We keep account and booking records for as long as your account is active and as needed to comply with tax, accounting, and legal obligations. You can request deletion by contacting Support.
6. Your choices
- Update your profile info at any time in your account settings.
- Opt out of marketing email using the unsubscribe link.
- Reply STOP to any Fixly SMS to opt out of SMS.
- Request access, correction, or deletion of your data via Support.
7. Security
We use encryption in transit, role-based access controls, and row-level security on our database to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
Fixly is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
